Overview

The Old Mutual Zimbabwe-powered Eight2Five Innovation Hub has launched the sixth edition of its flagship Value Creation Challenge, a programme designed to support startups and emerging businesses across the country. VCC6 is a dynamic 6-month incubation initiative aimed at nurturing entrepreneurship and driving innovation in key sectors such as emerging industries, innovative technology, creative industries, and sustainability. The programme offers entrepreneurs access to expert-led business development, mentorship, networking opportunities, pre-seed funding, and market exposure through pitching events and demo days. The programme targets four pillars: Innovative Technology (FinTech, EdTech, HealthTech, IoT, AI), Creative Industries (fashion, music, film, content creation), Emerging Industries (agro-processing, smart manufacturing, recycled materials), and Sustainability (climate-tech, renewable energy, water conservation). Now celebrating its 6th anniversary, VCC continues to support and accelerate innovative startups across Zimbabwe, equipping entrepreneurs with the tools they need to grow and scale. Eight2five Who Should Apply: Entrepreneurs and early-stage startups (0–3 years) with prototypes, MVPs, or early-market solutions demonstrating traction, from all regions of Zimbabwe.
